Box Score Northridge, CA—The UC Riverside Women's Soccer Team dropped a 1-0 decision at CSUN Thursday evening, falling to 3-9-3 overall and 0-4-0 in the Big West.

The teams battled to a scoreless tie through the first half, but in the 48th minute, Nicole Thompson netted her first goal of the season on a header from eight yards out. That was all the scoring the Matadors would need as the Highlanders were shutout for the third straight match.

UC Riverside remains on the road this weekend as they travel to UC Davis on Sunday for a 1 pm PT meeting with the Aggies.
