Men's Tennis Wins, 6-1, Over Villanova And Mary Washington

Riverside--The UC Riverside Men's Tennis Team was victorious in both of its matches Sunday, 6-1 over Villanova in the morning match, and in the afternoon they defeated the University of Mary Washington by the same score.

For the time first time since the 2011-12 season, the Highlanders won three matches in a row, having knocked off Concordia, 7-0 on Saturday.

They have played six of the eight matches in the current home stand, compiling a 5-1 record so far.

The Highlanders return to action next Wednesday March 9, when they host Westmont at 11 am in the SRC Tennis Center.
