UCR fell in the first two doubles matches in the match, causing Natalie Penner/ Tracy Van's match to go unfinished while they were leading, 5-3.

In no. 1 singles, Chloe Pham battled back from a set down to outlast Toledo's Emily Mazzola, 4-6, 6-3, 10-5. Tamila Vaksman prevailed in straight sets, 6-4, 7-6; as did Kassie Troung, 6-1, 6-0.

The Highlanders return to the courts tomorrow with two matches in the SRC Tennis Center, first at 10 am they take on Villanova, then they will face UC Davis in their third Big West match of the season at 3:00 pm.
