Fullerton & Stanford, CA—The UC Riverside Track & Field Teams split up to take part in two meets this weekend—the season's final scheduled weekend of competition prior to the Big West Conference Championships.
Most of the team travels to Cal State Fullerton, Saturday, to square off against CSUN, Fresno State, Northern Arizona, and the host Titans in a five-way meet.
The field events get underway at 1 pm PT wth the Men's Hammer Throw and conclude with the Men's Triple Jump at 6:40 pm. Track events begin at 4:30 pm with the Men's 4x100m Relay, and finish at 7:45 pm with the Women's 4x400m Relay.
Meanwhile, Cody Jordan and Faith Makau will make their way to Stanford for the Payton Jordan Invitational. Jordan (no relation), will run the Men's 1,500m on Sunday at 11:29 am, while Makau takes part in the Women's 800m at 12:43 pm and the Women's 1,500m at 4:25 pm.
