Riverside—The UC Riverside Baseball Team is back at The Plex for its final four home games of the 2016 season, beginning Tuesday with a 6 pm PT start against San Diego State, and concluding with a three-game conference series against Cal Poly.
The Big West is still jam packed with three games separating second through eighth place. The Highlanders lost two of three at Hawai'i over the weekend, dropping them into a tie for seventh. The Mustangs and UC Santa Barbara—UC Riverside's season-ending opponent—are just ahead of the Highlanders in the standings, giving UCR the opportunity to climb past the pair, and finish with a winning conference record for the first time since 2010.
