Norco, CA—Sophomore Kyra Taylor scored two goals and assisted on a third as the UC Riverside Women's Soccer Team defeated Grand Canyon, 4-1, Saturday evening in the Highlanders' lone preseason match of the season.

Taylor (Elk Grove, CA) played in all 20 matches as a freshman a year ago, starting 16. She scored the first goal of her career on September 6 of last year in a 3-0 victory over CSU Bakersfield (box score/recap).

Redshirt senior Tayler Dragoo (La Habra, CA) and redshirt junior Ashley Webb (Corona, CA) picked up the other scores for UC Riverside. Taylor assisted on Webb's goal, while sophomore Nerissse Bugho (Fresno, CA) was credited with the assist on Dragoo's score, and senior Tatum Lockett (Diamond Bar, CA) teamed up with Taylor on one of her goals.
