Ann Arbor, MI—The UC Riverside Men's Basketball Team (2-3) dropped an 87-42 decision at Michigan (6-1) Sunday.
KEY RUN
Michigan led 12-7 just over five minutes into the ballgame, and they scored 29 of the next 34 points to take control of the game. The Wolverines never trailed.
GAME NOTES
No member of the Highlanders scored in double figures. The last time that occurred was on February 18, 2017 at UC Irvine when Dikymbe Martin, Brandon Rosser and Koh Flippin each paced UC Riverside with nine points apiece.
The 42 points scored by the Highlanders are the fewest they have scored since a 61-33 loss at San Diego State on December 22, 2014.
This marked the first time this season that UC Riverside's opponent shot better from the field than did the Highlanders.
UC Riverside's 30.0 percent shooting from the field was the team's lowest percentage since they connected in 27.7 percent of their shots in a 50-49 loss vs. UC Davis on February 6.
