Men's Tennis Matches 11-12 SRC Tennis Courts-Riverside, CA

Sunday, March 5 vs South Dakota State @ 10 am vs Youngstown State @ 3:30 pm

Riverside, CA–The UC Riverside Men's Tennis Team looks to build on its two-match winning streak Sunday March 5 when they host a pair matches on the SRC Tennis Courts. To begin the day, the Highlanders take on South Dakota State at 10 am. Then at 3:30 pm they'll battle Youngstown State for a second time this season.

UCR had a successful weekend at home, where they reigned supreme in victories over Whittier (7-0) and Western New Mexico (5-2).

Sophomore Kyle McCann went 4-0 in singles and doubles matches last week, which earned him his first-career Big West Player of the Week award (story).

South Dakota State is currently 0-10 on the 2017 season. This will be the first time that the Jackrabbitts and Highlanders will be meeting in the last five years.

Youngstown State is standing at 9-4 on the 2017 season. In the first match-up between the clubs this year, the Penguins prevailed 6-1 in Las Vegas.
