Fresno–The UC Riverside Women's Golf Team will head north to compete in the 2017 Fresno State Classic at San Joaquin Country Club taking place March 13-14.
In their last event, The Red Rocks Invitational, the Highlanders finished seventh in the 13-team field. Jakeishya Le and Hailey White led the Highlanders both finishing in a tie for 14th overall (story).
White, competing as an individual, recorded her second top-15 finish of the season in her first year playing for the blue and gold.
The last time the Highlanders played in the Fresno State Classic was four years ago in 2013, when it was the Fresno State Lexus Classic. UCR finished 13th, while Highlander alums Amelia Ek and Savannah Vilaubi finished tied for seventh and 18th respectively.

Joining the 12-field along with the Highlanders from the Big West are Cal Poly, Cal State Fullerton, and UC Irvine.
