Riverside–The UC Riverside Men's Tennis Team picked up a 5-2 victory over visiting South Dakota in the first match f the day on the SRC Tennis Courts Sunday. In the afternoon match was delayed due to rain, the Highlanders fell 4-0 to Youngstown State.

UC Riverside won the doubles point thanks to victories by Cooper Bridge and Anderson Ju (6-4) on court no. 2, and Kyle McCann and Max Cohen (6-0) on court no. 3. The Highlanders dropped the match inline one doubles, but the momentum from claingn the doubles point carried over into singles play.

Bridge glided to a straight sets 6-0, 6-2 victory over Jonny Higham in line two singles, while Ju battled back from down a set to outlast Lucas Periera 2-6. 6-3, 10-8. UCR prevailed in the no. 4 & 5 matches to secure thie fourth win of the season. Full Match Results

In the afternoon match, UC Riverside fell to Youngstown for the second time this season, 4-0. The match was pushed back slightly to account for rain at the 3:30 pm scheduled start time. Full Match Results
