Track & Field Preps For Penultimate Meets Of The Regular Season At Fresno State And UC Irvine

Fresno, CA—The UC Riverside Track & Field Teams travel to two meets this weekend—the Fresno State Invitational and the adidas/Steve Scott Invitational. The Fresno State meet is a single-day event on Saturday, April 29, while the adidas/Steve Scott Invitational spans two days—Friday, April 28, and Saturday April 29.
With just two weeks remaining before the Big West Conference Championships on May 13-14, this is the last opportunity for some of the Highlanders to reach their qualifying marks.
The Fresno State Invitational begins at 11 am PT with the Men's Javelin and the Men's Shot Put. Track Events get underway at 2 pm with the Men's 3,000m Steeplechase. The meet concludes at 6:10 pm with the Women's 4x400m Relay.
Friday's field events at the adidas/Steve Scott Invitational start at 2 pm with the Men's Hammer and the Women's Javelin. Track events begin at 7 pm with the Men's 3,000m Steeplechase. Saturday gets underway with the Men's 4x100m Relay at noon, and the final event of the meet is the Women's 4x400m Relay, set to start at 5:35 pm.
