Riverside, CA—The UC Riverside Men's Tennis Team fell to Nevada in their third match of the 2018 season, Sunday.

The Wolf Pack took the doubles point after winning the first doubles match and in the #3 doubles, narrowly defeated Highlanders' pairing Nabil Abdallah and Anderson Ju in a tiebreaker, 7-6 (7-4). Highlanders Kyle McCann and Filip Engstrom pulled out a win in the #2 doubles match against the pairing of O'Donovan and Delahodde, 7-5.
Vignesh Subramanyan pulled out a victory in #6 singles (6-2, 6-4). Nabil Abdallah notched the Highlanders' second singles victory of the day in the #4 (4-6, 6-4, 6-2). Gilbert Chung had a tight match, but dropped the tiebreaker (12-10) in #5 singles.
"Once again, we had our chances to pull out a victory," said coach Mattias Johansson. "Losing the doubles point in a tiebreaker was tough. Gilbert had match points at #5 singles. We just need to find a way to win these close matches and we will be okay."
