RIVERSIDE, Calif. – On Tuesday, the UC Riverside Men's Basketball Team signed Dragan Elkaz, a 6'5 shooting guard from Sydney, Australia, to a National Letter of Intent.
Dragan is a highly-touted prospect who is a starting guard on the Australian U/17 National Team. He has won and scored at a high level internationally, including scoring 22 points against Canada and RJ Barrett – the #1 prospect in the 2018 class – and scoring 25 points against Bosnia. Both of those games were in the World Championships.
"Dragan brings winning and shooting at a high level into our program. His success internationally with the Australian National junior team will help move our program in the right direction. Dragan is an excellent student, and will be a key addition to our program," Head Coach David Patrick said.
