UCR Track & Field Travels to Steve Scott Invitational in Irvine

Kenady Jackson, Camille Deadwiler, Destiny Mitchell, Victoria Sandoval will take part in the first track event on Saturday with the 4x100 Relay. With the exception of Jackson, this relay team moved into No. 8 all-time UCR record books, scoring a lifetime best mark of 46.66 seconds at the Mt. Sac Relays last Friday.
ÂThe Men's 4x100 Relay will embody Erik Cisneros, Michael Kojin, Nathan Noble, and Carlos Wedlow who have made the record books as well with their best time of 41.29 seconds a couple weeks ago at the Sac State Challenge.
ÂKenady Jackson will be coming off her best mark of 56.92 seconds on the 400m. Jackson also ran her season-best of 24.69 for the 200m last weekend. She will participate in the 400m dash, women's 4x400 Relay, and the 4x100 Relay.
Kojin will take part in the 100m and 200m dash, along with the 4x100 Relay. Kojin holds records for all these events, with season-bests of 10.64 in the 100m and 20.94 in the 200m Big West top time.
Tayler Fleming, obtains one of the NCAA West Region's top marks for the Long Jump at 20-04.50. As for the 100m Hurdles, she has one of the Big West's best marks this year at 14.40 seconds. Fleming will be in both the Long Jump and 100m Hurdles.
ÂWesley Braddock and Lawrence O'Hara will both be in the Men's Discus Throw and Shot Put.
ÂSenior, Weslie Pearce will be in the 3000m Steeplechase, and the 1500m Run alongside Emily Sanchez.
