Women's Tennis Drops Quarter-Final Match to UCSB 4-0

Box Score INDIAN WELLS, Calif.— The #9 UC Riverside Women's Tennis Team (6-19) fell 4-0 to top-seeded UC Santa Barbara (12-12) in the Quarter Final round of the Big West Championship Saturday morning. The Highlanders finished their season winning six dual matches, which is the program's best mark since the 2010-2011 season.

The Gauchos took the doubles round and three singles matches to claim the overall match and move on to the semi-final round.

In singles play, senior Karla Dulay won four games on court one, but went unfinished in her final match for UCR. Junior Tracy Van was a bright spot for the Highlanders as she a 6-6 battle going on court six before play was stopped. 

Seniors Dulay, Chloe Pham, Natalie Penner, Tamilla Vaksman, and Kassie Truong have now played in their final match as Highlanders after leading the team to a historic season.
