
Men's Tennis Closes Regular Season with Trio of Matches

HIGHLANDER HISTORYÂ
UCR's 5-2 win over Norfolk State will go down in history as the Highlanders collected their 17th win of the season to set a program record yet again. This is the fourth straight year the team has surpassed its win total from the previous season and they are now up to 19 on the season.
EAST COAST SPRING BREAKÂ
The Highlanders enjoyed yet another successful trip to the east coast this past month as the team went 6-1 and broke the all-time win record of the fourth consecutive season.
GILL IS ILLÂ
Gilbert Chung has been on an absolute tear this year posting a 25-5Â record and winning 19Â of his last 20Â singles matches on court three for UCR.
WHELAN AND DEALIN'Â
A perfect week of singles play for Andreas Whelan-Merediz enough to earn the freshman his first career conference honor, as he was named Big West Athlete of the Week on Tuesday, April 2nd. The UCR rookie led the team to an outstanding 6-1 record in their annual east coast road trip posting a 7-0 singles record and adding three doubles victories with senior Kyle McCann.
