MBB Coach Mike Magpayo Promoted to Associate Head Coach

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – After recently being named to Silver Waves Media's "Top 50 Most Impactful Low Major Division 1 Coaches," Mike Magpayo has more to celebrate following his promotion to Associate Head Coach of the UCR Men's Basketball team. Coach Magpayo has coached alongside Head Coach David Patrick since April 2018.
On the promotion, Coach Patrick said, "We are fortunate to have Mike on our staff. He is a rising star in the coaching world. His leadership and commitment to our University and to our student-athletes, has allowed us to accelerate our progress as a program and his promotion is a reflection or his hard work and commitment to our program."
