RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The return of basketball to SRC Arena begins at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30, as the Highlanders welcome fans free of charge to the Men's Basketball exhibition between UC Riverside and Cal State LA, followed by the final free-admission event of the fall 2021 season when Women's Basketball will host their exhibition against Whittier College Friday, Nov. 5, at 6 p.m.
These two free exhibition games set the stage at SRC Arena for 16 Men's Basketball and 14 Women's Basketball home games in the 2021-22 regular season of Highlander basketball beginning with Women's home opener Nov. 9 vs. California Baptist and continuing with Men's first regular-season home game Nov. 14 vs. La Sierra.

"The enthusiasm, energy and support our students, campus and community have shown UCR Athletics over the past year was on full display at our home sporting events this fall and we cannot wait for that excitement to continue building as we move into basketball season! We have an amazing group of student-athletes representing UCR Men's and Women's Basketball who are led by two of the best and brightest head coaches in the sport.
