SAN DIEGO – The Highlanders continued competing Saturday in the second round of the San Diego State Fall Classic II at the Aztec Center.
 
The six-team event featuring UCR, Air Force, Oregon, UC San Diego, Utah and the host Aztecs saw the Highlanders come away winless across the singles and doubles draws. Sofia Lazzaroni and Serina Saltzen both won their opening sets in singles before falling in the decisive third sets. They will also team as doubles partners on Sunday.
