BOULDER CREEK, Nev. – UC Riverside finished its fall season on Tuesday at the Boulder Creek Golf Club, finishing 12th at The Clash at Boulder Creek.Â
Tiffany Le went bogey-free to tie UC Riverside's lowest round in program history, shooting a 6-under 66 on Tuesday. Le's historic scorecard matched that of Hannah Facchini at the 2016-17 Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown - also played at Boulder Creek - and tied the lowest individual round overall in Boulder Creek.
Le set a new career low after carding a 67 at last year's GCU Spring Invitational and ended the fall-ending event with her second 216 of the season. Her previous such score this year earned her the individual title at the Hobble Creek Fall Classic.
Kate Villegas was next up for the Highlanders, tying for 20th after finishing her fall with a 71 in round three. Mylan Hirata tied her lowest score of the event with a 76 on Tuesday while Maleyna Gregorio turned in her lowest round with a 75.Â
Five Highlanders either tied for or carded their lowest rounds at the fall-ending Nevada event, including Gabrielle Kiger and Nicole Le, who each shot in the 70s on Tuesday after 80s in each of their first two rounds.
