FRESNO, Calif. – UC Riverside women's golf capped off the Fresno State Classic with Tuesday's third and final round at the Belmont Country Club in Fresno.
The Highlanders finished 11
th as a team out of 15 after improving on Monday's second round with a 300 on the final 18 holes.
Tiffany Le turned in her fourth top-15 finish of the season and third straight after shooting a 2-under 70 on Tuesday to tie for seventh (72-76-70-218). The freshman birdied five holes in her final day surge to capture the top-10 finish.
Le tied for a tournament-low 4.67 on par 5s over the two-day event.
Kate Villegas tied for 30
th in Fresno despite shooting a 5-over 77 over the final 18 holes.
UCR will head to the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic in Maricopa, Arizona on April 4 before competing at the Big West Championships in San Luis Obispo.
