LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The UC Riverside Highlanders wrapped up the 2025 Big West Championship on Tuesday with a final-round 303 (+15), matching their opening round and finishing with a three-day total of 906 (+42) to secure seventh place at Spanish Trail Country Club.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Gabrielle Kiger led the Highlanders with a top-20 finish, placing 18th after rounds of 76-72-76 (+8).
- Mitzi Duarte posted her lowest round of the tournament with a 72 (E) on Tuesday, moving up 11 spots into a tie for 24th at 226 (+10). Her final round included four birdies and two bogies.
- Janna Andaya closed with a 76 (+4) and finished T-26 at 227 (+11).
- Maleyna Gregorio carded a final-round 80 (+8) and placed T-35 at 232 (+16).
- Sofia Vargas, who joined the lineup in Round Two, shot 77-79 over the final two days.
