A Special Invitation to all UCR Former Student-Athletes

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – On Thursday, September 15, 2022, UC Riverside Athletics Director, Wesley Mallette, will host a town hall style "family meeting" for all former Highlander student-athletes. This in-person only event will be held on the campus of UC Riverside and is strictly for student-athletes who competed at UCR. The meeting will feature a "State of Athletics" update from the AD, followed by a Q&A and discussion with the AD and head coaches. Immediately following the event, UCR Athletics will host a reception on campus. Â
"The success we are seeing currently is largely rooted in the culture that we have built and that we continue to focus on," said Mallette. "Our program is on an upward trajectory. Our coaches, staff and student-athletes are aligned and working together like never before, and I look forward to sharing where we are, where we are going and how we are going to get there with our former student-athletes who played an integral role in paving the way over the years. All of our student-athletes – past and present – have a voice and an audience with me and I am looking forward to a great conversation with everyone on Thursday, September 15."  Â
