LAS VEGAS – UC Riverside finished its weekend in Las Vegas on Saturday, January 28 at the Fertitta Tennis Center with a 4-2 setback to Weber State followed by a 4-0 loss to host UNLV. 

UCR dropped two of three doubles matches to concede the initial advantage, but not before both tandems forced their respective matches to a tiebreaker while Joshua Roth and Antreas Djakouris were tied at six on court one at the time of clinching. 

Justin Lamy and Aarav Sane picked up singles wins for the Highlanders after Lamy's 6-1, 7-6 win on five game UC Riverside a brief singles advantage.  

UCR followed up the morning performance with a 4-0 loss to UNLV to close out the weekend. 

UC Riverside continues the Southwest road trip in Arizona with two matches on Wednesday, February 8. The Highlanders will face Grand Canyon at 9:00 a.m. before traveling to Surprise, Arizona for a 2:00 p.m. match with Ottawa.
