RIVERSIDE, Calif. – UC Riverside fell 76-46 to Santa Clara on Tuesday night at the SRC Arena.  

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• Matehya Bryant started Tuesday 4 for 4 from the field to grab eight of UCR's first 12 points. Esther Matarranz dropped in her only bucket of the quarter with under a minute to play, but the floating triple broke a three-point drought that put the Highlanders within four after 10 minutes. 
• Jordan Webster kicked off the second half with a layup before following up with a three from up top for UCR's first triple of the night.  
• UC Riverside went on a 6-0 run in the third quarter in a span of 1:50 with another triple from Webster and a trio of free throws from Makayla Jackson and Jordyn Marshall. 

HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS 

• Webster registered her ninth game out of nine this year in double figures scoring and 19th straight overall dating back to last season. The senior did a little of everything on Tuesday against the Broncos, stuffing the stat sheet with five rebounds, three assists and four steals in addition to her team-high 16 points.  
• UC Riverside notched at or over 10 steals for the fifth time this season and third time in its last four games.
