PHOENIX, Ariz. - Tiffany Le (70-74-67-211) carded a 67 on Tuesday's final round to take home a fifth-place finish at the GCU Spring Invite, as UCR finished in the top half of the leaderboard as a team at eighth.
Le carded her second 67 in as many years at the event, shooting 5-under in round one of last year's GCU Spring Invite. The sophomore also now claims 17 career rounds at or below par, one shy of Savannah Vilaubi for third all-time in program history.
The Highlanders' 288 in Tuesday's final round also sets a new single-round low for team scoring at the event.
Vanessa Betancourt (75-73-74-222) finished in a tie for 38th, while Maleyna Gregorio shot her lowest round of the event to shoot 11 spots up the leaderboard into a top-55 finish.
UC Riverside will next travel to the Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird, teeing off on Thursday, March 9 from the Sunbrook Golf Club in St. George, Utah.
