
Highlanders Open Spring with Dual Win over Cal State San Bernardino

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - UC Riverside teed off the 2024 spring season on Saturday afternoon at the Victoria Club in Riverside with a 368-373 stroke play victory over Cal State San Bernardino. Â Â
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Josh Hu led UCR with a 68 (-4) as part of the Highlanders' last pairing of the day. Hu was paired with Chanhee Ryu, who shot a 73 (+1).Â
- Nik Kittilson teed off first for UC Riverside and carded a 75 (+3), matching Kamaljit Singh who also shot a 75 (+3) in his collegiate spring debut.
- Maddox Yi and Cortez Herrera each turned in a 77 (+5) while Mark Gao rounded out the group with a 79 (+7).Â
HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS

Hu's 68 was his fifth round at or under par in his last six dating back to the fall season. The senior was dialed in at the end of the back nine, going eagle, birdie on 17 and 18 to close out his day.Â
