RIVERSIDE, Calif. - UC Riverside fell, 7-0, to East Carolina on Thursday at the SRC Tennis Courts.  

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• Maya Youssef forced a third set at No. 2 singles with a 1-6, 6-1, 4-6 defeat. 
• Brionna Nguyen fought to the end in set one with a 5-7 defeat at No. 1 singles before falling 2-6 in set two.  
• Kamya Nair and Crystal Kim were unfinished at No. 3 doubles, down 5-3. Kim returned to action after missing UCR's Tuesday matches against UTRGV and Weber State. 

HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS 

• Youssef was en route to her second win in her last three matches.
