Men's Soccer Wins United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

UCR Men’s Soccer honored again with Team Academic Award
RIVERSIDE, Calif. (August 1, 2024) - UC Riverside Men's Soccer has once again showcased its dedication in the classroom with another United Soccer Coaches (USC) Team Academic Award. Â
UCR was one of seven UC programs and one of 168 men's programs across the country to earn the award after posting a 3.02 team GPA for the 2023-24 academic year. Â
Additionally, five student-athletes were named Big West All-Academic last season and over 40% of last year's roster made the 2023-24 Big West Commissioner's Honor Roll.Â
The Highlanders get the ball rolling on the 2024 season with a trio of exhibitions before the regular season kicks off on Friday, August 23 at San Diego State. UCR returns to the Inland Empire for the first time on Thursday, August 29, opening the home schedule with Youth Soccer Night against Utah Tech. Kickoff for the home opener is set for 8:30 p.m.Â
