ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The University of California, Riverside (UCR) women's soccer team dropped their Thursday evening road match to the University of New Mexico (UNM) Lobos at the UNM Soccer Complex in the Land of Enchantment.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• UNM opened the scoreboard early, finding the net in the eleventh minute of play.
• Highlander offense lit up in the second half, pouring nine shots on the Lobos' defense. Marieke ten Brink fired one shot on target for the Highlanders after a free kick from Mimi Dominguez.
• Lobos defenders managed to hold off UC Riverside's activated offense as the two teams battled until the end of regulation.

NOTABLES

• Allee Grashoff had three saves defending the net for the Highlanders.
• Marieke ten Brink and Spenser Gonzalez led the team in attempts with two each.
