2025 Highlanders' Baseball Schedule Announced

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Today UC Riverside's coach Justin Johnson released the 2025 Highlanders' baseball schedule. UCR will play 53 times this season with 28 games to be played at the Riverside Sports Complex.Â
The season starts at home with a four-game set against Utah Valley (Feb.14-17) before heading out on the road for four at Utah Tech (Feb. 21-23). This will be the first time that these two teams [UCR and Utah Tech] will meet.
On March 4, the Highlanders host Michigan, out of the BIG10, and first pitch is at 6:30 p.m. UCR played Michigan twice in 2002 and won both meetings. Other non-conference opponents coming to town include: LMU, San Francisco, CBU, UNLV and San Diego State.Â
UCR will open conference play against Hawai'i in a three-game set (March 7-9) at the Riverside Sports Complex. Other conference opponents that are coming into town are Cal State Fullerton, UC Santa Barbara, UC San Diego and Long Beach State. The Highlanders will cap the regular season with a three-game series at Cal Poly (May 15-17).
