BOULDER CITY, Nev. — The Highlanders delivered another consistent performance Monday at The Clash at Boulder Creek, closing the day tied for 11th after 36 holes at Boulder Creek Golf Club.
Janna Andaya led the Highlanders with rounds of 71 and 70 for a 3-under-par 141, placing her in a tie for sixth on the individual leaderboard heading into Tuesday's final round. Mitzi Duarte followed close behind with a 1-under 143 after rounds of 72 and 71 to sit tied for 19th.
Ivy Kim added a 145 (72–73) to stay among the top 35, while Lauren Lee (155) and Sophia Soto (160) rounded out the lineup. Individually, Riley Shin posted a 75 in round two for a 153 total.
UC Riverside sits at 6-over 582 after two rounds, well within reach of a top-10 finish in a field led by Northern Arizona at 16-under 560.
The Highlanders return Tuesday for the final 18 holes in Boulder City.
