RIVERSIDE, Calif.-Â UCR played its first home match of the year as they hosted Concordia University Irvine at the SRC Tennis Courts. This was the fourth meeting between the two schools and the first loss suffered by UCR, 5-2.

- The Golden Eagles took the doubles point to start the match topping the Highlanders, 2-1. The lone win came from Justin Lamy and Ryan Huynh on Court 1, 6-4.
- In singles competition each match went straight sets. Lamy won 7-5, 6-2 on Court 1.
- Lucas Ibarrondo Suarez also won his singles match, 6-3, 6-2.
- Up next for UCR is Hope International on February 5th at the SRC Tennis Courts. Match time is 10:00 a.m.Â
