- A key 13-4 run midway through the second half, highlighted by a fastbreak layup from Hargress, a three-pointer from Smith, and a dunk by Niyi Olabode, extended UC Riverside's lead to 16, sealing the victory.
- "It was a huge win against a tough team that had been on a roll, winning eight of their last ten. Niyi grabbed 11 rebounds on senior night, Luke gave us 11 strong defensive minutes, and Joel had six blocks, protecting the rim against a team that thrives in the paint. I couldn't be prouder of the effort, the crowd, and the environment. These seniors have built something special, and tonight was a tribute to them."
- Hargress' 32 points marked his third 30+ point performance of the season.
- Hargress broke the UC Riverside single-season scoring record, now sitting at 636 points, surpassing Maurice Pullum's mark of 632 set in the 1988-89 season.
- UC Riverside outrebounded CSUN 45-38, including 14 offensive rebounds that led to eight second-chance points.
- The Highlanders dominated in transition, outscoring CSUN 11-7 on fastbreak points.
- The Highlanders hit 25-of-29 free throws (86.2%).
- UC Riverside will close out the regular season on the road against Cal State Fullerton on Saturday, March 8th, with tip-off set for 6:00 p.m. as the Highlanders look to lock in their Big West Tournament seeding.
