RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The Highlanders were back in action this afternoon at the SRC Tennis Courts as they hosted UC Irvine in Big West play. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Anteaters took the doubles point, 2-0. The Highlanders' match featuring Aarav Sane and Lucas Ibarrondo Suarez went unfinished with them trailing 5-6. 
• In singles play, Ryan Huynh secured the only point for UCR winning 6-3, 6-0.
• Sane nearly pushed his match to a third set, but fell 1-6, 6-7.
• Justin Lamy dropped a tough set on court one, 4-6, 4-6.

UP NEXT

• The Highlanders travel up the coast on Monday, to play UC Santa Barbara (12:00 p.m.) and Westmont College (4:00 p.m.). They will then travel to Cal Poly SLO for a match on Tuesday.
