Women’s Volleyball Releases 2025 Schedule

Highlanders to play nine home matches under first-year head coach Branden Higa
RIVERSIDE, Calif. - UC Riverside first-year head women's volleyball coach Branden Higa has announced the squad's 2025 schedule.
The Highlanders will play 28 matches this coming fall, including nine at home.
UCR will open the season in the Sunshine State with matches against Norfolk State, Chattanooga, and tournament host Central Florida in Orlando. The Highlanders then head to Utah for their third non-conference tournament in the Beehive State in four years, facing Southern Utah, Sacramento State, and Weber State.
UC Riverside will face Oregon on September 11 at Long Beach State before facing San Diego State the next day. The non-conference schedule ends with a short trip to Las Vegas to face Southern Utah for a second time and host UNLV.
Big West play kicks off on September 23 when the Highlanders welcome UC Davis to the Johnson Family Practice Center before heading out on the road to Hawai'i. UCR returns home from the islands for a four-match homestand against UC Irvine, Cal State Fullerton, Long Beach State, and UC San Diego.
The Highlanders will play four of their final six regular season matches away from the SRC Arena, but will close the regular season with visits from Cal State Bakersfield and CSUN on November 20 and 22, respectively.
