RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Trinity Hale has been named Big West Defensive Player of the Week, it was announced Monday by the conference office.
Hale, a Murrieta native, collected her first UCR clean sheet in the Highlanders' scoreless draw with UTEP on Thursday. The Idaho State transfer made three saves and turned aside three shots in her first start.
Hale's 1.024 goals against average ranks fourth in the Big West.
