UCR Track & Field Releases 2026 Schedule

Highlanders to compete in over 20 meets this spring

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - UC Riverside has released its 2026 track & field schedule, consisting of over 20 meets before the Big West Multis and Championships in May. 

The indoor season kicks off on the final weekend of January with the UW Invitational and Ron Mann Classic, followed by a Valentine's Day weekend doubleheader with the Battle Born Classic and Valentine Invite. 

UCR wraps up indoor competition with the MPSF Championships, March 1 and 2, in Reno. 

UC Riverside will compete at the RCC Invitational on March 6 to get outdoor competition underway, then head south the following weekend to San Diego State for the Aztec Coastal Track Classic & Distance Carnival. The Highlanders return home on Saturday, March 21, to host the UCR Spring Classic.

UCR finishes off March with another doubleheader meet weekend at the Mangrum Invitational and Vince O'Boyle Classic. 

UC Riverside is San Francisco Bay Area bound for the opening weekend of April, racing at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic and Stanford Invitational.

The week of April 13 is a busy one for UCR with three meets, competing at the Bryan Clay Invitational and Mt. SAC Relays in addition to the Pacific Coast Invitational at Long Beach State. UC Riverside will host its second and final home meet of the season on April 24 and 25 with the Chris Rinne Invitational to finish April competition. 

UCR kicks off May at the Steve Scott Invitational, Oxy Last Chance Qualifier, and Desert Heat Classic, all in the opening weekend of the season's final month. The Highlanders then take on the APU Franson Last Chance before competing at the Big West Multis and Championships, and finally the NCAA West Preliminaries in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
