Andrew Alvarez

Andrew Alvarez enters his third season as Director of Operations with Highlander Baseball in 2025. 

Alvarez played college baseball at Pepperdine, Orange Coast College and Houston Christian, winning the 2012 West Coast Conference title with the Waves after making 12 relief appearances. Alvarez went on to win the 2014 3A2C state championship with OCC before winning his third title in four years with the 2015 Southland Conference title at HCU. 

Alvarez's accomplishments spanned on and off the field at HCU, earning a spot on both the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll and the 2015 Southland Conference All-Tournament Team. He was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at HCU and graduated magna cum laude in 2016 with a B.S. in Wellness Management.

Alvarez is a native of Riverside, earning four letters at King High School while being named a First Team All-Big VIII selection and a three-year scholar athlete.
