Following his 4 year career playing for the Highlanders, Austin Quick joins the Highlander Coaching Staff as the Special Assistant to the head Coach.
Quick currently sits 10th on the UCR all time steals list.
He earned his Bachelor's degree in Sociology last year at UCR and graduated with cum laude honors. He is currently in the Graduate School of Education pursuing his Masters in Higher Education and Policy.
A native of Murrieta, California, Quick won a CIF title at Murrieta Valley High School. His father, Ron, won a national championship for the University of Arizona in baseball and was drafted by the San Francisco Giants. His mother, Carole, is from Montreal and he has two older brothers, Nicholas and Vincent.
