Tim Hogan joined the UC Riverside Men's Soccer Coaching Staff in August of 2010 following his most recent coaching stints at Florida Gulf Coast and Georgetown.
Hogan was an assistant at FGCU in Fort Myers, Florida during the program’s first two years in Division I from 2007-09. Hogan assisted with all aspects of training and administration for the Eagles, and he also coached the goalkeepers. Prior to his stint at FGCU, Hogan coached the goalkeepers at Georgetown during the spring and fall seasons of 2006, and he was the volunteer assistant at Goucher College in Towson, Maryland in the fall of 2005. He was also the goalkeeper coach for the Maryland Olympic Development Program in the spring of 2007.
Hogan played collegiately at Georgetown from 2000-03 where he appeared in 45 games for the Hoyas, recording six shutouts. During his final season, the Richmond, Virginian native posted a goals against average of 1.37 and made 89 saves. Hogan was the recipient of the Ricardo Mendoza Award for Outstanding Leadership and Dedication as a senior. Hogan also competed in the USL’s PDL for the Richmond Kickers Future in 2002 and 2003.
Hogan served as the assistant director of the athletics annual fund at Georgetown from 2005-07, and he is currently the director of development for the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Ana, overseeing all fundraising, marketing and public relations efforts for the organization and its seven sites.
Hogan has a bachelor's degree in English and classics from Georgetown and a masters in English from Florida Gulf Coast. Hogan is single and resides in Newport Beach.
