Big West In 2013, qualified seventh in the 400m before finishing in fith place at the Big West Championships with her time of 54.90... Finished sixth in the 4x100m Relay and the 4x400m Relay with team times of 47.18 and 3:43.27 respectively ... In 2015, teamed with Noelle Abboud, Asha Giles and Raquel Hefflin to finish second in the 4x400m Relay with a time of 3:40.38 ... Came in fourth in the 400m with a time of 54.02, after finishing eighth in the prelims with a time of 55.87 ... Teamed up with Noelle Abboud, Camille Deadwiler and Asha Giles to finish fourth in the 4x100m Relay with a time of 45.93 ...UC Riverside Set the indoor school record in the 400m recording 56.18 February 15, 2014 at the Husky Classic ...College of the Canyons (2010-12) Set the school record in the 400m and the 4x400m relay as a senior in 2012 ... Earned All-American honors in both events ...
High School Ran track and field, and also played basketball for two seasons, at Saugus High School ... The 2010 track & field team won the CIF Championship becoming the first women's team in Santa Clarita to win a CIF title ... Won the Foothill League Championship in track and field all four years ... Was the league champion in the 200m as a senior, and helped set the Foothill League 4x400m relay record that same season ... Earned best defensive player honors in basketball ...
Personal Amber Nicole Wright is the daughter of Mario and Renee Wright ... Her uncle, Taylor Cooper, was an all-conference defensive back at Fresno State ... Considers her mother to have had the biggest influence on her as an athlete because "she is always pushing me to be my best. She is ny number one supporter and fan, and I just want to make her proud" ... Her career goal is to become a successful set designer for the theater TV and film industry ... Her favorite sport is basketball, and her favorite athlete is her brother, Mario, who runs track and plays football and basketball ... Her most memorable sports achievements are winning CIF in high school and setting the school record in the 400m and 4x400m relay at College of the Canyons ... Enjoys eating sushi, burgers and ice cream ... Â
