UC Riverside

Jelani Drake joined the UC Riverside Sports Medicine staff in October of 2021 and primarily covers Highander Cross Country and Track & Field.

Jelani attended Northern Arizona University and graduated in 2016 with his bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences – Fitness & Wellness, with a minor in Biology. He then attended Azusa Pacific University and graduated in 2020 with his master’s degree in Athletic Training.

Prior to joining the UCR Sports Medicine staff, he worked part-time at Industrial Athlete Pros, Fullerton College, Orange Coast College and Mater Dei High School.

During his free time, Jelani enjoys working out at the gym, hanging out with his family, listening to music and playing video games.
