Shane Greaney enters his first year as Director of Ticketing, as he enters UC Riverside with over four years of experience in NCAA Division I Athletics primarily in Ticket Sales, Service, and Operations.
Greaney arrives in Riverside after his time with University of the Pacific being a Manager of Ticket Sales and Service for two years. Overseeing all aspects of Ticket Sales and Sponsorship elements for seven ticketed sports among overseeing a Ticket Sales Staff/Interns.
Prior to his time at University of the Pacific, Greaney spent two years at Santa Clara University where he began his career in College Athletics. Started out as a Sales, Service, and Operations Consultant in June of 2022 where he would be primarily responsible for outbound sales for groups, season tickets, and single game buyers. As the year progressed, Greaney would get promoted to Senior Sales, Service, and Operations Consultant. He would see more responsibilities overseeing a student staff of 15 for game day and would oversee the hiring and training of new Sales Consultants.
Post graduation at Sonoma State University in 2021, Greaney worked part time roles at Golden State Warriors, San Francisco 49ers, San Jose Earthquakes, Bay Area Panthers and Sonoma Raceway.
A native in the Bay Area near San Francisco, Greaney earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration of Marketing with minors in American Multicultural Studies and Film Studies over at Sonoma State University.
If Greaney is not working, he will be rooting for my sports teams such as Las Vegas Raiders and Golden State Warriors.
