Phoenix, AZ—UC Riverside outside hitter Helena Peric was named to the Grand Canyon Invitational All-Tournament Team this week as she paced the Highlanders with 45 kills over three matches.

The Smederevo, Serbia native also added 14 digs and three blocks, while posting a .202 attack percentage.

The Highlanders (5-8) went 1-2 at the invitational besting Grand Canyon, 3-1 (box score/recap), but dropping 3-1 decisions to Northern Arizona (box score/recap) and Boise State (box score/recap).

Peric has recorded double digit kill totals in each of the last five matches including a career-high 18 in the team's win over the host Antelopes. Her 102 kills on the season rank second on the team, and her .222 attack percentage is tops among outside hitters.
