Highlanders Ride Two-Game Win Streak Into Thursday's Game VS. Mustangs

Game Notes - UCR vs. Cal Poly
The UC Riverside women’s basketball team is riding a two-game win streak into Thursday’s Big West contest against Cal Poly at 7:00 pm at the Student Recreation Center -- their first such streak of the season.

The Highlanders own the all-time record against Cal Poly, 29-24, but the Mustangs knocked UCR out of the Big West Basketball Tournament a year ago in their last meeting.
Cal Poly currently sits atop the Big West standings with a 4-1 conference record, and their 11-5 overall record is also tops in the league. Kristina Santiago leads the Mustangs with a conference-best 20.2 points per game and 7.9 rebounds per game.
The Highlanders have three-players averaging double-figures in scoring led by identical 12.2 ppg by Alyssa Morris and Marissa Rivera (pictured). Rhaya Neabors is third with 11.9 points per game.
