Highlanders Host Big West Conference Championships On Saturday, Oct. 30

For the third time in as many years, and for the sixth time since the Highlanders joined the Big West Conference in 2001, UC Riverside's Ag/Ops Course will play host to the Big West Cross Country Championships on October 30 with the men's 8k race beginning at 9:30 am PT.
The women's 6k race starts at 8:45 am PT with an awards ceremony beginning at approximately 10:10 am PT.
The Highlanders are looking for their first conference championship in 2010 as they finished fourth a year ago and third the two years prior.
Tickets are just $5 for fans ages six and above; Big West students with ID and fans ages five and below are free. For more information please visit the Big West Championship page.
