Game Notes - UC Riverside vs. Morgan State
The UC Riverside women’s basketball team embarks on its first road trip of the 2010-11 season at the DePaul Maggie Dixon Classic beginning Friday, November 26 with a 3:00 pm PST game against Morgan State in Chicago, IL.
The Highlanders and Bears will face off against one another for the first time in program history. The winner of Friday’s contest will face off against the winner of the DePaul/Northwestern State game, which tips immediately following UCR’s match.
The Bears are 3-1 on the season with wins over Southern-Illinois-Edwardsville, Saint Bonaventure, and South Florida. Erin Hawkins leads the team averaging 14.3 points per game.
Brittany Waddell leads a balanced Highlanders scoring attack averaging 9.7 points per game. Four others average 5.3 or more points a game.
