Women's Basketball Hosts Pepperdine Tuesday In Non-Conference Action

Game Notes - UC Riverside vs. Pepperdine

The UC Riverside women's basketball team has returned from its four-game cross-country road trip and now prepares to host the Pepperdine Waves on Tuesday, December 28 at 7pm PST at the Student Recreation Center in non-conference action.

The 2010 Big West Tournament Champions enter Tuesday's game with a 6-4 record, having lost the last two straight after winning the three prior. Alyssa Morris leads the squad averaging 11.6 points per game, while four others are averaging 7.6 or more points.

Pepperdine brings a 7-5 record into Tuesday's meeting, with their last two wins coming over fellow Big West opponents Cal State Fullerton and Cal Poly. Jazmine Jackson leads three Waves players in double figure scoring with 14.4 points per game.
