Mchael Hur Named Big West Conference Player Of The Week

The Big West named UC Riverside senior left fielder Michael Hur the winner of the first Conference Player of the Week Award for 2010 on Monday following the Highlanders' three-game sweep of visiting BYU over the weekend.
Hur hit .462/.462/.789 (avg/obp/slg) over the series hitting safely and driving in at least one run in all three games. His six RBIs were 22 percent of UCR's total and he now has a seven game hitting-streak dating back to last season. Hur also has driven in 12 runs over his past five games dating back to last year.
The Highlanders host Bethune-Cookman on Monday, February 22 with first pitch slated for 3 pm PT.
